This statement applies to the website kreativschnittstelle.de (German and English versions). It is an information and contact website operated by KREATIVSCHNITTSTELLE, Schaffer & Springer GbR, represented by Matthias Schaffer.

2. Compliance status

This website is partially conformant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at conformance level AA.

“Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not fully meet the standard. The reasons and planned measures are described below.

There is no external, independent certification. The assessment is based on a self-evaluation by the operator.

3. Measures implemented

When developing and maintaining this website, we apply measures including:

  • Semantic HTML with meaningful headings and landmarks (header, nav, main, footer)
  • Skip link to main content
  • Visible focus indicators for keyboard use
  • Keyboard-operable navigation (including the mobile menu)
  • Page language indication (lang) and language switching
  • Alternative text for relevant images
  • Sufficient colour contrast for text and controls
  • Support for prefers-reduced-motion
  • Structured lists for recurring content (e.g. focus areas, process steps)
  • Accessible names for controls without visible text (e.g. icon links, theme toggle)
  • Links in body text with a permanently visible underline
  • Legal pages (legal notice, privacy policy, this statement) with semantic headings, lists and linked contact details

4. Non-accessible content

The following limitations are known:

  • No continuous monitoring: There is no permanent automated monitoring. After content or technical changes, a new spot check is required.
  • No formal full audit: Without an independent audit, individual WCAG criteria may not be met in edge cases.

5. Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on the basis of a self-assessment.

Testing methods used (May 2026):

  • Manual testing: keyboard operation, logical heading order, screen reader spot checks
  • Automated spot checks with common accessibility tools (e.g. axe, Lighthouse)
  • Review in light and dark mode and at increased zoom

This statement will be reviewed and updated when significant changes are made to the website.
